Lisa's Wine Inspired BK Wedding

T&B had a great time helping Lisa and Ralph with their wedding day flowers. The couple's ceremony and intimate family reception occurred at Scottadito Toscana Restaurant in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

We were inspired by the restaurant's wine cellar dining room and the Bride's love of golden pheasant feathers. We mixed dusty pinks with brown accents and gold pheasant feathers to create unique bouquets and centerpieces. We also created vases out of wine bottles by cleaning, cutting and sanding the edges of used red wine bottles.

Each place setting was accented with a gold plate charger and place card decorated with feathers and a sprig of herb and greenery.

The result was a uniquely inspired fall wedding decor.

The Bride look beautiful and her wedding was uniquely gorgeous!

Thanks!

Logs...logs and more logs!

Here at T&B we've been busy little bees...or bobos, making all sorts of fun items for Katherine and Simon's wedding...some of these items have been birch log decorations.

We're cutting different types of birch logs into logs of varying heights which will serve as beautiful table decorations, accented by candles, and some being used as table number cards.

We're also using birch logs as place card holders.

We love birch, and it's been a fun saw dust filled summer!

We're already excited to post pictures of the final product come wedding day.

Love,

All aboard for a Spring wedding

We were really excited to make beautiful flower arrangements for Bride Robin this past Friday with her wedding aboard a boat here in NYC.  The colours were inspired and designed to fit the location, using a few pieces of greenery from the Tashi & Bobo garden and the rest were sourced from the flower market here in the city.
Now for the fun stuff - the pictures:

Photo walls

A fun and interactive thing to have at your wedding or party is a photo wall or even just a simple frame to capture your guests behind!  Pola made an amazing wall for her wedding last year.  The wallpaper and frames were chosen to match her colors and she supplied hats for guests to put on and pose with.

The walls can be made with any wallpaper or color to suit you and to snap your guests with.
....Say cheese!!!

(The bridesmaids at Pola's wedding having fun at the photo wall!)

Another way to get fun photographs of your guests is with a simple frame.  This is easier and much cheaper to do.  Plus the frame can be walked around to your guests.  And you can have guest hold props for some added humor!

(Pola and her to be husband even used the frame idea for their save the date photographs!)

We can make you a similar wall for approx $500 and even include photographs of family and friends on the wall.  This is really great fun for guests of all ages!

Wishing Tree

(Wishing tree branches from my wedding last year)

An easy and pretty was to have your guess write you a message at your special event is with a wishing tree.  Using decorative branches, which can be adorned with bunting, flowers or simply just the branches, guests write a message on tags that we provide and hang it on the tree.  Once your event is done you can collect up the tags and place them in a book for safe keeping.
